Who runs this site
datamind.com is run by DataMind, the company behind DataMind OS. In this policy, "DataMind," "we" and "us" mean that company.
For anything about your personal data, write to privacy@datamind.com.
What we collect
This site collects two kinds of personal data.
- What you send us. When you request a trial or a demo, the form asks for your full name, work email, company and country. Adding a message is optional.
- What your browser sends. Our web server keeps no access log. Its error log records failures without your address. The contact form service keeps a salted, short-lived hash of your address only to limit repeated submissions, and it logs outcomes, not what you wrote.
This site does not ask for payment details.
Why we use it
- To answer your trial or demo request, set up the conversation and follow up on it.
- To run this site, keep it available and protect it from abuse and attacks.
Where the law asks for a legal basis, we rely on the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies and trackers
This site sets no cookies. We measure visits with Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless, stores no IP address, reports aggregate numbers only and runs in the EU. If that changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We share form data only with the service providers we need to run it. Cloudflare Turnstile screens the form for automated abuse and receives browser signals and your IP address for that check. Discord carries your request to our sales team. Microsoft, through Azure Communication Services, delivers it by email. They handle it on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
We disclose personal data to public authorities only when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Contact requests. While the conversation they start is active, then for up to 24 months. If a commercial relationship follows, the agreement with your company sets how long we keep them.
- Server logs. No access log is kept. Error logs hold no addresses.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it, if you object to how we use it
Write to privacy@datamind.com and we will reply within the time the law sets. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live or work.
International transfers
DataMind and the providers it uses may handle personal data in countries other than yours, where data protection law can differ. When we move personal data across borders, we use safeguards the law recognizes, so it stays protected to the standard this policy describes.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We limit access to form submissions to the people who need them to answer you.
Children
This site is meant for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
DataMind OS is covered separately
DataMind OS, the product, runs on your own servers. How it handles the data you put into it is set by your license agreement and the product documentation at datamind.guide, not by this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change affects how we use your data, we will say so on this site.
